Bassist Daryl Johns has been playing music since he was just a small boy. But the "jazz prodigy" designation can't cover the whole of his story. On this episode of The DIY Videographer, Salvador Cresta takes a break from watering his plants to explore the story of Mac Demarco's bassist, a lifelong music lover, and all around fascinating guy. Daryl Johns.
The DIY Videographer is dedicated to slowness and raw, dirty visuals. We're sick of slick Netflix-style content and we want to get back to something grubby and human. Enjoy this mini-documentary on Daryl Johns.
