The pandering is obvious, the promises are empty, but the Democrats still win

This is what Biden and the Democrats don't get. Hope and change and promise doesn't work anymore. Politics has always been transactional, but Black folk have been able to ride the hope and promise train because their only real power is their consumer spending and the vote. This was shown in the last election in the South Carolina Democratic Primary, where a down and dying Biden campaign was revived and revitalized off the Black vote.

This will also play out in the next election. Except Black men will not save him. The thing to understand is that the pandering is not for the Black vote. It is for the moderate and leftist white vote. And the strategy there is to bring out the suburban white woman - who will also vote on abortion. I project the Republicans have overplayed their hands with certain localities going to far for the national electorate.

Even with the Electoral College, Democrats win.
