Nostr Compass 1.1.2 saves the Send request before an upload begins. Closing the app leaves the recording queued for recovery, with the local audio, uploaded Blossom URL, and signed event checkpoint retained. Unsent takes stay local.
A background upload that needs signer approval now shows “Approve in Amber.” Its reminder opens the saved-recording list, and a new-recording notification opens the relevant voice-note section. Both work on a new launch and when the app is already open. Returning to the app reloads worker checkpoints without moving the current list.
The newsletter reader now distinguishes numbered newsletters from Android release articles signed by the same Compass key. It also queries the relay carrying the current Compass newsletter. Unrelated relay comments cannot crowd newsletters out of the local library. Connection cleanup runs off the UI thread to keep it from interrupting a refresh or completed send. The app keeps its compact AMOLED interface, podcast playback, offline topic guides, and local transcript search. Amber handles signing outside the app. Notifications still depend on Android scheduling and notification permission.
