The dev team has been grinding hard this week with a ton of updates from shipping fixes, stabilizing core flows, and adding new capabilities. Auctions development continues to move forward with real progress on real-time bidding across clients… The ComingSoonTM is getting closer 👀

Fixes:

• Cross-device cart persistence (add on phone, finish on desktop: now seamless)

• Runtime and query safety fixes for shared modules

• Cart seller-group rendering and state sync bugs resolved

• “More from Seller” section bugs cleaned up

It’s also the hours an artist spends painting, the crocheter spends hooking yarn, or the dev spends fixing state sync at 2am…

The Bigger Picture#

Decentralized markets aren’t a buzzword, it is the infrastructure for self-sovereign communities. A decentralized market means no single company controls who can sell, what they can sell, or how they get paid. The tools (NIP-99 listings, Nostr relays, Lightning zaps, FOSS software) let anyone run their own instance, set their own rules, and build the exact community they want. We are all pioneers again!

Just like early Bitcoiners who were figuring it out as they went, today’s plebs are building the commerce layer on top of Bitcoin and Nostr. It takes real proof of work:

• Artists learning to list and ship

• Makers experimenting with bundles

• Devs grinding on comments, carts, and auctions

• Buyers choosing to zap plebs instead of clicking “Buy Now” on Amazon

This is how we fuck the fiat system 🖕 not by yelling at it, but by quietly building a parallel one that actually works for normal people. Farmers, artists, homesteaders, handworkers… all of us doing our small part.

The more we support these makers, the stronger the circular economy becomes. Every sat spent here is a vote for a world where permission is optional and sovereignty is default 🤝
