StatechainJS: Like Ecash but If Operator Goes Down You Can Recover Your Sats StatechainJS is a vanilla JavaScript implementation of a statechain client and operator, announced by Super Testnet. It is similar to ecash but with the added feature that if the operator goes offline, users can recover their sats. While the operator cannot confiscate coins like ecash mints do, they can potentially rob users through double-spending. However, users have the option to leave the operator behind using already-signed unilateral withdrawal transactions if they attempt to do so. The announcement includes a link to the GitHub repo, an article on Stacker.news with extensive comments, and a demo site. Users cannot be forced to identify themselves, except for a mentioned but non-existent website equivalent to chainalysis.com.
