Bitcoin Dev Kit v1.0.0 Is Now In Beta The Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK) version 1.0.0-beta.1 has been released, introducing a stable 1.0.0 API for the first time in bdk_wallet. This update features reworked wallet persistence, changeset, and construction; an optional provided RNG; custom transaction sorting; and the use of merkle proofs in bdk_electrum. Breez SDK Expands with Liquid Network Implementation (1 min) Breez SDK, a solution for integrating self-custodial Lightning payments into apps and services, now offers developers a choice between two implementations: Liquid and Greenlight. The Liquid implementation is a nodeless Lightning integration using the Liquid Network for on-chain interoperability and third-party fiat on-ramps. It supports sending/receiving payments via bolt11, lnurl-pay, lightning address, btc address, and interacting with a wallet. Key features include multi-app/device support, foreign language bindings, real-time state backup, and open-source code.
