Ι…GOᏒɅ 🏜️ Second Year Recap: 2025 Another Growing Year for Our P2P Marketplace

Two year ago, @mo released the ~AGORA P2P Marketplaceβ€”a new way to promote, share, and trade peer-to-peer over SN. Our goal was to create a single destination for our community to discover the goods and services needed without intermediaries and paying with Bitcoin, Lighting, and now the build in Cowboy Credits. We launched with a simple idea to replicate the dynamics of the place where people exchanged the social and political1 order of the polis (city/community), the center of the athletic, artistic, business, social, spiritual, and political life in, in our case, the Wild West Web of Stacker News.

Two year already since its inception, last year review feels like last month, the AGORA territory has continued being powered by a thriving community, tenacious sellers and many brave β‚Ώusinesses and Merchants. We talk (private) β‚Ώusiness, we growth an economy arund bitcoin and most importat, we continue educating and learning about trading good and services peer to peer, withouth intermediaries, with trust and honor.

So why keep going at a loss? We are driven by a desire to create something meaningful and useful for a community that aligns with our interests and values, which for us, is a fulfilling and motivating factor itself. Operating the AGORA provides me and @AG an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, and learn from others. The sense of community and the potential for personal and professional growth is our second strong motivator. Moreover, Stacker News is continually improving and expanding with new features that keep us even mre motivated to create new initiative like those that follow:
