XRP Is Money With A King
XRP was mined by one dude, the king of XRP. The XRP king declared what the total supply would be. The XRP king declared blocks before 32,000 to be a mystery). We cannot actually verify the supply because of this mystery. The XRP king sells his tokens to the peasants. The peasants tell other people to buy XRP. Sounds like a digital central bank to me.
Andreas Antonopoulos says **Bitcoin is rules without rulers). Bitcoin solved the double-spending problem by timestamping the entire supply approximately every 10 minutes. Bitcoin can be held with time locks and multi-signature security. Bitcoin transactions can be sent at the speed of light with the Lightning Network. I can use Bitcoin at over 4 million stores in the United States. Best of all, nobody can change it. Nobody can control Bitcoin. XRP does not have this feature.
Why Am I Writing About XRP?#
)
I got into Bitcoin because I think printing money out of thin air like a bank is theft. It kills the ability to save over the long run. I did not get into Bitcoin to become a new central bank. I think it is also immoral to use the fiat credit system to "mine Bitcoin," but I cannot stop fiat fairies from doing fiat things like the waves of credit bubbles Satoshi wrote about. When I bring this up, many people ask me, "What do you think about XRP?"
I think pre-mines with an opaque supply are good for scamming people out of their hard-earned money. I am not interested in scams. Therefore, I am not interested in XRP. I am not interested in their KYC. I am not interested in stablecoins. I am not interested in fiat gambling games. I am interested in the solution to the double-spending problem. In my opinion, XRP does not solve this problem with its PoS) three-second timestamp server. How would I date my art using three-second blocks? What incentive does anyone have to run an XRP node if there is nothing left to mine and no fees to collect?
Typically, XRP aficionados tell me how much dirty fiat they made on Ripple tokens. I don't care about fiat. Don't get me wrong, NGU (Number Go Up) is important. I am not interested in buying a Lambo, but NGU helped me buy a Subaru. I can also make car payments using Bitcoin, as well as pay for cheeseburgers and coffee at the speed of light. I am considering just paying the damn car off because fiat credit creation makes everything more expensive for everyone else. I still struggle with this, but it is the unfortunate reality of the world, and my Subaru was more expensive than two times my annual income. I don't understand how fiat maxis can afford anything. That is the double-spending problem we want to fix. What problem does XRP fix that Bitcoin does not already fix with no kings?
XRP Is Gambling and Surveillance#

Actual XRP advertisement marketing the shitcoin as a gambling game
I do not blame the XRP gamblers for gambling. People living in Weimar Germany gambled on the stock market or resorted to prostitution because the money did not hold any value. The stock market becomes a casino when money makes it impossible to save. This has other consequences as well. Inflation causes xenophobia, prostitution, and many other vices.
XRP seems very into regulatory compliance. This is probably desirable in a xenophobic hyperinflation era, but Bitcoin is the exit from the surveillance state. During the Great Depression, FDR signed Executive Order 9066), which ordered all Japanese people living in the United States to be incarcerated after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Their property was stolen and reparations were later awarded with inflated money. If people want a world where we can just lock up otherwise law-abiding citizens or non-citizens, the XRP surveillance state can help, but that is not the path taken by a rights-respecting Republic. Bitcoin is freedom money. The government can still wrongfully incarcerate you, but if you can get out with 12 words, you will be free with your stack that cannot be debased. That is what makes Bitcoin so attractive to me, not fiat gambling games.
I became interested in Bitcoin because I expected such attacks on freedom given the massive amounts of US debt. It is not quite at hyperinflation levels, but the writing is on the wall. Xenophobia is increasing. Gambling and speculation are massive. XRP can help with repression, but I am interested in freedom, not repression. Bitcoin is freedom money. Bitcoin does not need permission from an empire built on 40 trillion dollars worth of debt and growing. Bitcoin is the escape hatch, not the instrument of repression.
I am interested in Bitcoin for freedom. I am not interested in getting on my knees before any king. I will not open my mouth for this royal scrotum token. That is not the freedom money I am here for. If you want to live your life like the "gimp" dude in Pulp Fiction, go ahead and go down that road, but that is not the road for me.
