Most "we accept crypto" pages still hide the hard parts: which chain, which address, when dispatch starts, and what happens if you need a refund. Here is a plain checklist for wallet-to-wallet checkout on real hardware — the shape VoltVault uses.
1) The payment is the order#
There is no card form and no hosted payment session to expire. You pick a coin, get a receiving address for that network, send from your own wallet, and the on-chain transaction is the receipt. Keep the txid. Anyone can look it up on a block explorer without trusting a merchant portal screenshot.
Coins VoltVault takes today: BTC on Bitcoin, ETH on Ethereum, USDC/USDT on Base or Ethereum, and USDC or SOL on Solana. If a page will not tell you the network before you send, do not send.
2) Confirmations start the clock#
Dispatch starts after the payment confirms on-chain — not after an email, not after a ticket. At VoltVault, confirmed orders leave Utah, USA within 3–5 business days. US shipping is free and insured with tracking. International shipping is quoted at checkout before you pay.
If a store cannot say when the clock starts, you are guessing.
3) Trust signals you can verify yourself#
Before you pay a crypto-only shop, look for:
- Public receiving wallets published on the site (not only in a chat DM)
- Condition labels on every unit (new vs open-box) before payment
- A real refund path in the same coin you paid
- A contact that answers — email that is not a black hole
VoltVault publishes the same checklist at https://shopvoltvault.com/is-voltvault-legit — signed wallet proofs, how refunds work, and what "open-box" means here.
4) Refunds should return to the sending wallet#
A 30-day money-back guarantee only matters if the refund rail is clear. VoltVault refunds in the same crypto you paid with, and by default sends back to the sending wallet. If you paid from an exchange and need a different destination, that new address has to come in the original order email thread. A cold email asking to redirect a refund is ignored on purpose — order references travel in screenshots, and redirecting to a stranger's wallet is how chargeback-style theft works on-chain.
5) Why this is worth it for a coin holder#
If you already hold BTC, ETH, USDC or SOL, the usual path to a console or phone is sell to fiat, wait on a bank rail, then buy at retail. Direct wallet-to-wallet checkout removes those hops. The remaining work is verifying stock, condition, and refund rules — which is what the checklist above is for.
