Bitcoin offers a new foundation for sound money. But a resilient monetary system must work not only when digital infrastructure is functioning, but also when it fails—and when the currencies people depend on begin losing their value.

This index presents the canonical, chronologically ordered, arc-based structure of the Bitcoin Chronicles Universe — a continuity map spanning early Earthbound origins, interplanetary expansion, philosophical eras, sovereign colonies, far-future civilizations, and the later return to practical sovereignty. As the universe grows, this index will remain the authoritative guide for narrative placement across arcs, eras, and worlds.

Over the past few days I've found myself thinking about four seemingly unrelated things: the reported Coldcard vulnerability, the book of Job, Galatians 6:7, and the role of chaos in our lives. The more I reflected, the more I realized they all point toward the same question: what do we make of faithful people who genuinely try to do the right thing and still suffer? This isn't really an article about hardware wallets. It's about uncertainty, resilience, honest stewardship, and why I'm still convinced that Bitcoin—and perhaps life itself—is better understood through the lens of faithfulness than certainty.

Short-term trading is often dismissed as a zero-sum game, driven by hype and luck. But for those who approach it with discipline and conviction, trading can be a meaningful craft — a way to fund deeper work, align with values, and sharpen focus. In this piece, I share why I only trade equities (not crypto or forex), how I avoid signal-following hype, and why consistent, small gains often matter more than chasing spikes. This isn’t gambling — it’s Proof of Work.

Bitcoin taught us to think differently about money. This article explores what happens when we apply that same principle to the rest of our digital lives. From Nostr and local-first software to relationship memory and AI, I argue that our writing, conversations, and digital history should begin with us—not with a platform.

Continuum's media library has taken a step beyond simple file management. By tracking where each image is used across articles, notes, and profile metadata, it can protect published content, prevent accidental deletions, and surface relationships that would otherwise be hidden. This is the beginning of what I call relational memory—software that remembers not just what you've created, but how everything you've created fits together.

What does independence mean in the digital age? Reflecting on America's 250th birthday and recent changes to Continuum, this article explores why true software sovereignty comes from owning the architecture rather than becoming dependent on any single provider or platform.

This document outlines the current architectural direction for Continuum Vault. It communicates the long-term vision and guiding principles rather than every implementation detail. As Continuum evolves, this document will evolve alongside it.

For years, my digital life was scattered across Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, Nostr, and countless other services. Each knew a different part of me, but none ever felt like home. This is the story of the question that ultimately became Continuum.

Continuum’s archive system has now shifted from a simple “export current DB state” model to a queue-driven archival pipeline that preserves full event history over time. Events are queued as immutable raw snapshots, committed into Git-backed archive repositories, and later used to rebuild a global archive index independently from the live SQLite database. This architecture now supports durable version preservation, retry-safe archival processing, and long-term reconstruction of archive state entirely from committed history.

Continuum’s archive sync work is moving from shell-driven Docker workflows into the application runtime itself. Step 1 proved that kind:1 notes can be persisted into the archive. Step 2 extends the same flow to kind:30023 long-form articles.

There is a massive difference between using AI as a thinking and writing assistant versus generating endless streams of low-effort “AI slop.” I increasingly think people intuitively recognize the distinction immediately. One feels authored, refined, and connected to a real human perspective. The other feels synthetic, generic, emotionally hollow, and mass-produced. The important question is not “Was AI involved?” but rather: “Was a human actually thinking?”

This is a short article describing what I think is the difference between a game vs 'gamification' and why that distinction matters. It's parly a rant. Opinions are my own.

Strategy’s Bitcoin treasury strategy is not magic and it is not an “infinite money glitch.” It is a directional bet that Bitcoin will appreciate faster than the company’s cost of capital over long periods of time. Products like STRC are built on that assumption. While Bitcoin remains extremely volatile, its long-term performance has dramatically outpaced many traditional assets over the past decade. Strategy is attempting something historically unusual: building a modern corporate capital structure around a volatile monetary asset. Whether that succeeds long term remains an open question, but understanding the mechanics matters far more than hype or slogans.

Today’s Continuum work reinforced an important idea: sovereign systems are not defined only by their capabilities, but by how they behave when dependencies are missing, environments change, or systems partially fail.

Today Continuum reached an important usability milestone: PDF exports now work consistently across all supported build types instead of depending entirely on one rendering engine. This sounds small on the surface, but it represents something much larger about portability, durability, and local-first software design.

Today's work pushed Continuum further toward becoming a true sovereign local-first workspace. The focus was not on “cloud sync” or engagement mechanics. It was on reducing plaintext exposure, improving encrypted workspace handling, and making the local environment more durable and portable across different deployment models. Another important milestone: PDF exports are now supported consistently across all build types, including environments where WeasyPrint is unavailable.
