I stopped passively accepting bloated, data-stuffed transactions and used Bitcoin Knots to build an opinionated node that prioritizes real monetary activity. This walkthrough shows how I tuned my policy to reject spam while still constructing clean, efficient ~1MB blocks filled with legitimate transactions.
